Spykee the Spyrobot
Endlich war es wieder soweit! Eine neue Ladung technischer Gadgets war bei uns im Büro eingetrudelt. Unter anderem auch “Spykee the Spy Robot”.
Wie soll man sagen. Ein Traum für alle, die ein Gefährt über den Rechner fernsteuern wollen.
Spykee wird in Einzelteilen geliefert. Dass heißt man muss sich ersteinmal gründlich mit der Anleitung beschäftigen und als alter Playmobil und Legofanatiker (muss an der Stelle nicht erwähnen, dass ich die Ü-Eier Anleitungen am Anfang immer weggeschmissen habe 
) war es zwar ein bisschen schwierig Spykee aufzubauen, aber nach 2h war ich dann endlich fertig.
Vor mir Stand er nun in seiner strahlenden Pracht, welche mich zwangsweise an Nummer 5 erinnerte. Nun gings ans eingemachte. Heißt ich musste jetzt Spykee irgendwie zum fahren und steuern bringen. Also aktuelle Software herunterladen und auf dem MAC installieren.

Für alle die, die gerne eine automatische Überprüfung ihrer VPN-Verbindung wünschen, habe ich anbei ein kleines Skript beigefügt.
Das Skript macht folgendes: Es überprüft per Ping, ob ein bestimmter Rechner im angewählten VPN Netz verfügbar ist. Antwortet der Rechner nach 10 Pingversuchen nicht mehr, wird per rasdial /disconnect die VPN-Verbindung getrennt und nach einer kurzen Pause wieder neu aufgebaut. Danach wird wieder von vorne überprüft. Kurz gesagt, das Batch-Skript läuft per Endlosschleife.

Ich kann mich dunkel daran erinnern, einen ähnlichen Globus schon mal im Fernsehen gesehen zu haben. Ich kam auf jeden fall zu der Ehre, endlich mal aus der Nähe so einen schwebenden Globus zu betrachten und zu testen. Das Prinzip ist einfach. Stecker rein, Globus nehmen und solange den Globus nach oben und nach unten bewegen bis sich die beiden Magente gegenseitig aufheben. Jeder Physiker würde mir für den letzten Satz den Hals Rumdrehen, es sei mir aber verziehen. Wie dem auch sei, hat der Globus die richtige Position “gefunden”, beginnt er wie von Geisterhand zu schweben und sich zu drehen. Wahrlich ein schönes Gadget für das Büro.

Ich erinnere mich bei diesem Produkt, an meine Jugendzeit. Betrunken nach Hause torkeln und hoffen, dass die Eltern im Bett liegen. Kurz vorm Ziel stellt man dann fest, dass der verdammte Fernseher noch läuft. Und man wartet und wartet und wartet… bis der Fernseher aus ist und man sich sicher in das eigene Bett bewegen kann. FakeTV hat in dem Fall nichts damit zu tun, um betrunkene Jugendliche (die Angst haben aufzufliegen) davon abzuhalten ins Bett zu gehen.
